Crusher industries found running against rules



POKHARA: The Gandaki state assembly finance and development committee has found that the crusher industries in the state were running by flouting the rules that govern them.

Accordingly, it has decided to hold the concerned authorities accountable for the same.

A virtual meeting on Friday of the committee decided to hold an interaction with the heads of the district coordination committees of all 11 districts in the state on coming September 9.

“We have received complaints of the crusher industries not following the rules, including come not being registered or renewed,” committee chair Dipak Koirala said.

We will discuss with all the DCC chiefs about making the crusher industries follow the rules and regulations, Koirala said.

At the meeting, committee members Indra Lal Sapkota, Bhagwat Prakash Malla, Harisharan Acharya Janak Lal Shrestha, Dobate Biswakarma and Sarita Gurung expressed their views on the state of crusher industries in their respective districts.
