Leader Poudel leaves for China

KATHMANDU: General-Secretary of the ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Bishnu Prasad Poudel has left here for China on Saturday to attend an event.

Poudel is scheduled to inaugurate the Xian-south Asian Study Centre established at the Xian University located in Shaanxi Province on Monday, shared CPN central committee member Bishnu Rijal.

During his stay there, he would also be holding high-level meetings with the leaders from the Chinese Communist Party in China.

Leader Poudel is scheduled to return home on April 20.
