52-year-old male succumbs to coronavirus in Chitwan



CHITWAN: A 52-year-old male succumbed to coronavirus at the Bharatpur-based Chitwan Medical College on Sunday afternoon.

A resident of Bharatpur Metropolis-10, the victim was suffering from pneumonia.

He was being treated on ventilator.

The male was admitted to the hospital on August 20 and his coronavirus report had come positive on August 23, according to Dr Daya Ram Lamsal, Director of the College.

Currently, five COVID-19 patients are receiving treatment on ventilator at the hospital.
