19 Traffic Police in Koteshwor test positive for COVID-19

KATHMANDU: As many as 19 traffic police deployed at Koteshwor Traffic Police Division have been infected from COVID-19.

Two traffic police working at the division were tested for the COVID-19 after suffering from fever. After the infection was confirmed in both of them, swabs of 33 people were collected on Thursday.

Among them, 17 traffic police have been tested positive for the COVID-19.

With this, the number of infected traffic police at the division has reached 19.

So far, the infection has been confirmed in 110 traffic police in the Kathmandu Valley.
