30-year-old woman dies of coronavirus in Palpa

PALPA: A woman undergoing treatment for the coronavirus has died on Friday.

A 30-year-old woman from Tansen-8, Madanpokhara passed away this evening, according to Lumbini Medical College, Palpa.

She was undergoing treatment at the isolation center of the hospital after testing positive for the coronavirus on Sunday.

Hospital’s COVID Focal Person Dr. Mamata Koirala said that the hospital was coordinating with Palpa District COVID Crisis Management Center for the management of the body of the deceased woman.

Palpa has reported two coronavirus-related deaths so far.
