COVID-19 patient dies in Koshi Hospital

BIRATNAGAR: A 65-year-old woman undergoing treatment for coronavirus pandemic at the Koshi Hospital has died on Friday morning.

According to Dr. Deepak Sigdel, the Chief of COVID-19 Treatment Center established at the hospital, the sexagenarian woman from Lahan died at 10.45 am today.

He informed that she was receiving health care on a ventilator from 7 am after she developed respiratory problems from early morning.

She was admitted to the hospital at 10.30 pm on Thursday and had been suffering from lungs-related problems.

Dr. Sigdel informed that Nepal Army has been making arrangement for the cremation of the deceased.
