55-yr-old succumbs to COVID-19 at Dhulikhel Hospital



KATHMANDU: A man has died from coronavirus in the course of treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital.

According to Dr Narendra Kumar Jha, the chief of District Health Office, Kavre, a 55-year-old man of Suryabinayak municipality-8, succumbed to the virus at the hospital on Tuesday night.

Thyroid and cardiac patient, who was admitted to the hospital three days ago, had tested positive for coronavirus.

The number of coronavirus has increased in an unprecedented manner in Kavre district, of late.

Of the total infected, 63 have recovered after treatment while two (woman and man) have died from the coronavirus.

Currently, 98 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers in the district.
