Kavre reports 17 new COVID-19 cases



KAVRE: As many as 17 new coronavirus cases were diagnosed in a single day in Kavre district on Tuesday.

According to Dr Narendra Kumar Jha, the chief of District Health Office, Kavre, 17 people from Dhulikhel, Banepa, Panauti municipality, Bhumlu rural municipality tested positive for coronavirus.

Those infected are two women aged 25 and 37 and a man aged 26 from Dhulikhel Hospital, six people including two women from Panauti municipality, six people including four-year-old child.

Similarly, two women aged 33 and 49 from Mandandeupur municipality have contracted the virus, said Dr Jha.
