COVID-19 positive male from Butwal dies in Bhaktapur



BHAKTAPUR: A 54-year-old male from Butwal receiving treatment at the Bhaktapur-based Martyr Dharma Bhakta National Transplantation Center has died of coronavirus pandemic.

According to the hospital sources, the male was a kidney patient and had been taking dialysis service from the Transplantation Center for quite long.

He hails from Butwal and his dead body is already cremated with the help of Nepal Army.

The source claimed that after contact tracing of the relatives and contacts of the deceased, the swabs are collected and sent for PCR test.

The country has seen a rise in coronavirus cases of late. Nearly 10% of the swabs tested in last 24 hours yesterday had come out with coronavirus positive result.
