Parsa reports 54 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 54 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Parsa district in the past 24 hours.

According to a Facebook message issued by the District Administration Office, Parsa, 54 people including 47 males and seven females tested positive for coronavirus.

All the infected are from Parsa district. Of them 25 are from Parsagadhi municipality, 16 are from Birgunj Metropolitan City while the rest are from Sakhuwa, Prasauni and Paterwa Sugali.

The new cases were confirmed during PCR tests carried out at the laboratory of Narayani Hospital on Friday evening.
