One more COVID-19 death in Dhanusha

Case found positive posthumously



JANAKPURDHAM: Dhanusha district has seen one more coronavirus death as the posthumous test report shows.

According to Bijaya Jha, a Senior Public Health Administrator at Province Health Directorate, Janakpurdham, a 50-year-old male of Fulgama, Nagarain Municipality referred to Kathmandu for further treatment died while on the way to Kathmandu.

Jha said that the male was in critical condition while brought to the Provincial Hospital, hence, the hospital referred him to Kathmandu for further treatment.

The swab of the deceased collected while being brought to Province Hospital tested positive.

According to Jha, the man was a heart and thyroid patient and has already been cremated.

Dhanusha has seen 10 coronavirus death till date.
