Youth dies after being hit by ex-king Gyanendra’s car



URLABARI: A biker has died after being hit by a car, Ba 3 Cha 7962, belonging to former king Gyanendra Shah.

The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Prkash Chaudhary of Itahari Sub Metropolitan City-8 . Similarly, Hem Chaudhary, 22, who was riding pillion, has sustained  injuries. He is receiving treatment at Biratnagar-based Nobel Hospital, informed Area Police Office, Urlabari.

The car hit the motorbike at Sundarharaincha Municipality-4 when it was returning home after dropping Shah at Biratnagar airport on Wednesday night, according to police.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the car and its driver under control. Former King Shah had used the same car during his visit to the eastern districts of Nepal.
