Sexagenarian woman dies of coronavirus in Dharan



KATHMANDU:  A 67-year-old woman has died from coronavirus while undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

According to Institute’s Spokesperson Nidesh Sapkota, the sexagenarian was admitted to the hospital at 2 am on Tuesday and passed away at 4:45 pm in the course of treatment.

Originally from Budhiganga-2, Morang, she was suffering from cardiac related problems, according to Sapkota.

“She had dry cough, fever and respiratory complications and had been referred to Dharan from Birat Medical, Tankisinuwari,” said Sapkota.

Her swab screening report had come out positive for coronavirus.
