18 Nepalis die of coronavirus in Qatar so far



DOHA: At least 18 Nepalis have succumbed to the coronavirus in Qatar so far, according to Nepali Embassy in Doha.

It is unknown how many Nepalis are infected as Qatar has not disclosed the nationality of the infected people from day one.

Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus infections in Qatar has been declining, according to Qatar’s Health Ministry.

In the last 24 hours, Qatar reported 277 cases that took the tally to 114,809.

Despite the decline in the number of new cases, health officials have urged people to take precautionary measures and use face masks.
