RUPANDEHI: An official working at Social Development Ministry of Province-5 has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Chief of Health Directorate Dr. Binod Kumar Giri confirmed that an official of the Health Division working in the containment of the virus was infected with the coronavirus.
After the Ministry’s official tested positive for the virus, PCR tests were conducted on Minister for Social Development Sudarshan Baral and other officials to confirm the further spread of the virus.
Dr. Giri said that Minister Baral tested negative for the virus and the report for others is awaited.
