Prohibitory order extended for three days in Bardiya



BARDIYA: The district-wide prohibitory order has been extended for three more days in Bardiya from Thursday.

Earlier, the District Administration Office had decided to issue a five-day order after the COVID-19 pandemic was confirmed at the community level.

A meeting of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee chaired by Chief District Officer Liladhar Adhikari on Thursday decided to extend the order until August 16 midnight.

The DAO information officer Narayan Prasad Dhakal shared that some officials of Muktinath Development Bank Gulariya and Citizens Bank Badhaiyatal were tested positive for COVID-19.

These banks are closed unless another notice after PCR tests of officials.
