‘Provide Rs 5 mln or get ready to lose your life’



KATHMANDU: Police arrested two persons on the charge of threatening to kill lawmaker of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Rajendra Lingden. The arrested are Dipak Rokaya of Humla and Tilak Das Parajuli of Jhapa, a report in Kantipur daily said.

Parajuli, who was absconding after fleecing six youths of Rs 1,600,000 promising them jobs in foreign countries, had allegedly demanded Rs 5 million from Lingden, threatening to take his life if he failed to provide him the money.

Lingden, RPP lawmaker from Jhapa-3, had received a threat to take his life if he did not provide Rs 5 million through two different SIM cards of Ncell and NTC.
