Nepal fixes 10 border points for entering from India



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to allow citizens who want to return home through land route only through 10 entry points.

Government Spokesperson and Minister for Information and Technology Yubaraj Khatiwada on Tuesday said that the Cabinet has amended its earlier decision and reduced the number of entry points to 10 from 20.

According to the government’s decision, the entry will be allowed only from Jhapa’s Kakarvitta, Morang’s Rani, Siraha’s Madar, Rautahat’s Gaur, Parsa’s Birgunj, Rupandehi’s Belahiya, Banke’s Jamunaha, Kailali’s Gauriphanta, Kapilvastu’s Krishnanagar and Kanchanpur’s Gaddachauki.
