Govt to provide Rs one million each to Rukum incident victims



KATHMANDU: The Council of Ministers has decided to provide Rs one million each to families of those who lost their lives in the Chaurajahari incident in Rukum West.

Unveiling the Cabinet decision, Spokesperson Yuvaraj Khatiwada said that the Cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to provide relief package to six families.

In the incident, six persons—Nawaraj BK, Ganesh Budha Magar, Sanju BK, Lokendra Sunar, Govind Shahi and Tikaram Nepali— lost their lives.

Similarly, the government has decided to provide free treatment to all the injured.
