Gongabu murder case:  Woman held in Chitwan brought to Kathmandu

KATHMANDU:  Police have arrested a woman at Tandi of Chitwan district in connection with the Gongabu murder case.

Police arrested Kalpana Shahi from Madhavpur, Chitwan and brought her to to Kathmandu at 3 am today for investigation.

A human torso had been found in a suitcase at Ganeshthan in Gongabi on Sunday morning.

The law enforcement agency had located the head of the man some 300 meters away from the place where the suitcase had been found.

The deceased was identified as Krishna Bahadur Bohara of Dang on Monday.

According to the preliminary investigation, the man was brutally killed on Saturday night using a sharp weapon and thrown in the suitcase.

He had been working at an industry at Sohrakhutte, police said.
