Biplav outfit leader Moktan arrested in Bhaktapur



KAVRE: A leader associated with Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav has been arrested in Bhaktapur.

Kavre District Police Office arrested 33-year-old Prashanta Kumar Moktan from Suryabinayak in Bhaktapur district, said District Police Office, Kavre.

Originally from Roshi rural municipality-5, Shisakhani, Moktan was arrested in line with Chapter 5 of the National Civil (Code) Act, 2017, said DSP Kumar Bikram Thapa.

Thapa said they are carrying out investigation on Lama by taking him on a seven-day remand from District Administration Office, Kavre in case of a misdemeanor.

Earlier, on May 27, Lekh Raj Gajmer, a leader of Biplav outfit, had been arrested from Dhulikhel.
