15 including 3 medical persons test positive for coronavirus in Parsa



KATHMANDU: As many as 15 people including three medical persons have tested positive for coronavirus in Birgunj.

According to Dr Udaya Narayan Singh at Narayani Special Coronavirus Hospital, 15 people including two doctors and one heath worker were diagnosed with coronavirus.

They were confirmed to have been infected after their swab test results came out positive at Narayani Hospital.

Among them, one each from Bara and Ilam and 13 are from Parsa.

Dr Singh said the new infection cases of coronavirus has spiked in the districts including Parsa in Province 2, of late.

As many as 61 infected people are undergoing treatment at Narayani Special Coronavirus Hospital.

Singh said screening of ‘one person, one house’ has begun saying that the coronavirus has spread to the community level.
