APF senior head constable injured when pistol shot itself



BANKE: A senior head constable of Armed Police Force (APF) has been injured when a pistol shot itself while he was cleaning firearms at Musikot municipality-1 in the district on Sunday.

Chief District Officer Upendra Poudel confirmed that Yam Bahadur Khadka of Kohalpur municipality in Banke district sustained injuries in the upper part of the knee in the incident.

Khadka is posted at APF 47 number company. Khadka, who has been referred to Nepalgunj after treatment at the district hospital, is in normal condition, said CDO Poudel.
