Unidentified youth attacks girl with acid in capital



KATHMANDU:  A girl has been attacked with acid at Bafal in the Kathmandu Valley.

An unidentified youth attacked Pabitra Karki of Okhaldhunga with acid at Bafal on Thursday evening, informed SSP Shyam Gyawali, the chief of Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu.

The assailant is at large. SSP Gyawali said they are searching the culprit.

“We are searching the youth involved in the acid attack. We are investigating the case,” said Gyawali.

She was attacked with acid while she was out in the evening.  The victim is undergoing treatment at Kirtipur Hospital.
