All four capital-based coronavirus hospitals full of infected

KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus cases has reached 239 in the Kathmandu Valley after 54 new cases were reported on Monday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, as many as 24 new cases were reported in Kathmandu, 20 in Lalitpur and 10 in Bhaktapur on Monday.

With this, 161 cases are in Kathmandu, 39 cases each in Lalitpur and Bhaktapur.

According to the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD), 153 people infected with COVID-19 have been kept in isolation as of Monday. Some of them have been admitted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

With the surge in the number of coronavirus cases, all the four coronavirus hospitals in the Kathmandu Valley have been filled with infected patients.
