Man found murdered in Kanchanpur



KANCHANPUR: A man has been found murdered at Punarbas municipality-5, Kanchanpur last night. Gopal Kunwar in his 50s was hacked to death using a sharp weapon.

Kunwar’s neighbor Gaurav Khadka, 35, has been suspected of being behind the murder, according to DSP at the District Police Office, Kanchanpur Amar Thapa Chettri.

Khadka has been missing since the incident.

The reason behind the murder is not yet known, while an investigation is underway. A police team with sniffer dogs has been mobilized in the murder site and a manhunt launched to find Khadka.
