Entry to Kathmandu Valley to be allowed if committed to home quarantine



KATHMANDU: The COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) has decided to allow entry to Kathmandu Valley with a commitment for mandatory home quarantine and recommendation from concerned municipal.

According to the criteria set by the Ministry of Health and Population, the CCMC has decided to allow entry to the Valley if a recommendation from the ward office and police is produced with a commitment to staying in home quarantine.

Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Mahendra Guragain said that the CCMC has decided to allow the residents to stay in the home quarantine for 14 days as per the criteria of the Ministry of Health.

He said that the decision would be applicable to all those who enter Kathmandu via air and land routes.
