Five health workers test positive for COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Five health workers have been infected with COVID-19 in  Karnali Pradesh.

They were confirmed to have been infected with coronavirus after their swabs test results came out positive during test at the laboratory of Karnali Provincial Hospital on Monday morning.

The infected health workers are associated with X-ray Department and Laboratory Department of Karnali Provincial Hospital.

The hospital conducted PCR tests on 42 people including health workers who came into contact with three people diagnosed with COVID-19.

The infected health workers have been kept in quarantine of the hospital.
