Youths stage protest against govt’s handling of COVID-19 (photo/video)



KATHMANDU: Youths have hit the streets saying the government has failed to control the spread of coronavirus.

Accusing the government of failing to control the coronavirus, the youths spontaneously took to the streets, impersonating the ‘dead’ to show the suffering of the helpless people.

They protested that the government committed irregularities in the control of coronavirus epidemic.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the recent working style of the government, they have peacefully taken to the streets.

Some 100 youths have staged the protest lying on the road at the Shaheed Gate (Martyr’s Gate) from 10:30 am to 11:30 on Saturday.
