RPP Chair Thapa slams workshop between CPC and NCP

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Kamal Thapa has slammed the workshop being held between Communist Party of China (CPC) and Nepal Communist Party (NPC) on Friday.

The ruling NCP and CPC are holding a joint workshop on Friday afternoon. The communist parties in the government have hailed the workshop saying such interactions would be fruitful to share experiences for running the party and the government.

In a message on Twitter, RPP Chairman Thapa has labeled the act as an ‘objectionable neo-colonial’ practice.

Chairman Thapa has asked what the fate of the nation would be provided all political parties start taking training and political and financial aid from the sources closer to them.

“What will happen to the country provided every nation starts taking political, financial aid as per the party interest, rather than the national interest?” Thapa has asked, “Is it an attempt to make Nepal strategic playground for the competing international forces?”

RPP Chairman Thapa has asked the government to stop such practices while labeling it as nonsense.
