HETAUDA: The Bagmati State government has announced ‘Literate Bagmati State’ for the next year.

The campaign is announced to ensure every child’s access to school/education. It would be implemented with the coordination and cooperation among the local levels.

The scheme was included in the policy and programmes the State government brought forth for the fiscal year 2077/78.

It mentioned that the scheme would help realize the constitutional rights of basic education and free education up to secondary level.

Moreover, the scheme also aspires to devise mechanisms to hold the secondary education examination (SEE) and manage records on school employees and teachers’ service and payments.

The legal and policy structures would be framed in line with the national policy and standard.

Similarly, every local level will have a well-equipped special school for the physically challenged students.

The community schools and campus would also be strengthened. The schools and colleges will have safe drinking water, playground, and green gardens too.
