POKAHARA: The Gandaki Provincial Assembly is meeting today at 2:00 pm. The session, which had been adjourned on July 9, will resume today.
During today’s meeting, the bill related to the regulation and use of cannabis cultivation for medicinal and industrial purposes, which was returned by Province Chief Dilli Raj Bhatta, is likely to be presented for reconsideration, according to Provincial Assembly Secretariat Secretary Govinda Poudel.
“The message sent by the Province Chief regarding the return of the bill will be presented to the Assembly, and members will also express their views on contemporary issues during zero hour,” Poudel said.
The bill on cannabis cultivation, which was passed by the Provincial Assembly on July 9, was sent back for reconsideration by Province Chief Bhatta last Friday.
