Sunsari tensions spread to Siraha as protests intensify



KATHMANDU: Protests that began following tensions between two communities in Sunsari and subsequently spread to other districts have intensified in Siraha.

The situation has worsened as incidents of arson and looting have been reported at various locations across the district.

The Nepal Army has also been deployed in the field amid the escalating unrest.

One person has died after being shot as tensions continue to rise in the district.
