NRB announces foreign currency exchange rates for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign currency exchange rates for Tuesday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 150.97 and the selling rate at Rs 151.57.

The buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 172.16 and the selling rate at Rs 172.84. Similarly, the buying rate of one British pound sterling stands at Rs 199.55, with the selling rate at Rs 200.35.

The buying rate of one Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 186.74 and the selling rate at Rs 187.48. Likewise, one Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 104.16 and sold at Rs 104.58, while one Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 106.40 and sold at Rs 106.82.

The buying rate of one Singapore dollar has been set at Rs 116.71 and the selling rate at Rs 117.17.

Among Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.33 and the selling rate at Rs 9.36. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 22.22 and sold at Rs 22.31.

The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees remains fixed, with the buying rate at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

Similarly, one Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 40.20 and sold at Rs 40.36. One Qatari riyal has a buying rate of Rs 41.42 and a selling rate of Rs 41.58, while one UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 41.11 and sold at Rs 41.27.

The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at Rs 37.08 and the selling rate at Rs 37.23. Meanwhile, 100 South Korean won are being bought at Rs 9.78 and sold at Rs 9.82.
