18 arrested with drugs from various places



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 18 individuals with narcotics from different parts of the country during routine patrol operations.

According to the Central Police News Room, five people were arrested with brown heroin from Arjundhara Municipality-11 in Jhapa, two from Phidim Municipality-1, three from Koshi Rural Municipality-1 in Sunsari, one from Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-11, and two from Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-1.

Some of the arrested individuals were also found in possession of digital weighing scales used for measuring narcotics.

Similarly, one person each was arrested from Kohalpur Municipality-10 , Pokhara Metropolitan City-25, and Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-13, while two individuals were arrested from Simraungadh Municipality-3. The arrests were made on Wednesday, police said.
