Malekhu-Muglin road to be closed for six hours at night from today



MALEKHU: The Ichhakamana section of the Malekhu-Muglin road under the Prithvi Highway will be completely closed for traffic for six hours at night for three days from today.

As the road is being upgraded nighttime traffic is being shut down until April 2. Road upgrading is being carried out at Ghoptebhir and other places falling under Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-4 of Chitwan under the Muglin-Nagdhunga Road Project.

The movement of all types of private and public vehicles except for essential services like ambulances and fire engines will be stopped from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am, said Assistant Chief District Officer of the District Administration Office, Chitwan, Chiranjivi Sharma.

The administration has urged travelers to contact Road Planning Information Officer Sachin Mishra (9849-544607) and Police Inspector Pratik Singh (9855090120)of the Area Police Office, Muglin  for any inconvenience that may be faced by the passengers during the road closure and for further updated information.
