Gold price drops by Rs 2,500 per tola



KATHMANDU: The price of gold declined by Rs 2,500 per tola on Monday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 283,500 per tola for the day.

Gold was traded at Rs 286,000 per tola on Sunday.

Despite the drop, the price of gold has increased by Rs 8,000 per tola over the past week. Last Monday, gold was traded at Rs 275,500 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has also declined. Silver fell by Rs 20 per tola compared to the previous day.

Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,720 per tola on Sunday, has dropped to Rs 4,700 per tola on Monday.

Last Monday, silver was traded at Rs 4,425 per tola.
