Kathmandu Valley sees colder morning with temperature dip



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley has dropped by more than one degree Celsius compared to the previous day.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu was recorded at 5.3 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am today. At the same time on Thursday, the minimum temperature stood at 6.5 degrees Celsius.

Later in the morning, at 8:45 am on Friday, the temperature rose slightly and was recorded at 6.2 degrees Celsius. The official minimum temperature for the day is measured at 8:45 am, and it may be marginally lower than earlier readings.

On Wednesday, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu was recorded at 7.5 degrees Celsius. The Division records the minimum and maximum temperatures of various locations across the country, including Kathmandu, on a daily basis. The minimum temperature is measured at 8:45 am, while the maximum temperature is recorded at 5:45 pm.

The lowest temperature recorded in a day is referred to as the minimum temperature, while the highest is known as the maximum temperature.
