KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Gorkhas are taking on Janakpur Bolts in the first match of the day in Season 3 of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Kathmandu won the toss and elected to bat first.
Kathmandu captain Karan KC said he opted to bat, citing the current conditions, which he believes make setting a target easier than chasing one.
Kathmandu are playing their first match of the season, while Janakpur are looking for their first win after losing their previous match.
Harmeet Singh is leading the Janakpur side. For today’s match, Janakpur have left Jimmy Neesham out of the playing XI.
