KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 153.28, while the selling rate is Rs 153.88.
The buying rate of one euro is Rs 174.32 and the selling rate is Rs 174.00. The British pound sterling is priced at Rs 203.16 for buying and Rs 203.96 for selling, while the Swiss franc is fixed at Rs 184.32 for buying and Rs 185.04 for selling.
The Australian dollar is set at Rs 107.50 for buying and Rs 107.92 for selling. Similarly, the Canadian dollar is fixed at Rs 108.23 and Rs 108.65, while the Singapore dollar is set at Rs 119.87 and Rs 120.34 for buying and selling, respectively.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.76 and the selling rate is Rs 9.80. The Chinese yuan is fixed at Rs 22.84 for buying and Rs 22.93 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal is set at Rs 40.83 and Rs 40.99, while the Qatari riyal is fixed at Rs 42.05 and Rs 42.22 for buying and selling, respectively.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht is priced at Rs 4.56 for buying and Rs 4.58 for selling. The UAE dirham is fixed at Rs 41.73 and Rs 41.89, while the Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 37.53 and Rs 37.67.
The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.27 and the selling rate is Rs 11.32. The Swedish krona is fixed at Rs 15.38 for buying and Rs 15.44 for selling, while the Danish krone is set at Rs 23.32 and Rs 23.41, respectively.
The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 19.54 and the selling rate is Rs 19.62. The Kuwaiti dinar is fixed at Rs 498.15 for buying and Rs 500.10 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar is set at Rs 406.61 and Rs 408.20. The Omani rial is priced at Rs 398.12 for buying and Rs 399.68 for selling.
The Indian rupee is fixed at Rs 160 for 100 rupees on the buying side and Rs 160.15 on the selling side.
Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It also noted that exchange rates quoted by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s rates. Updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
