KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Federal Parliament’s House of Representatives is scheduled to take place today at 10:00 am, with several legislative proposals and committee reports on the agenda.
Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, is scheduled to present the National Defence University Bill, 2083.
Minister Gautam will also present a proposal seeking consideration of the Bill to Enact Provisions of Certain Nepal Acts, 2083.
Similarly, Ojaswi Sherachan, chairperson of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee, will present the committee’s report on the National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2083, which originated in the National Assembly.
Minister for Infrastructure Development Sunil Lamsal will present the Diploma Engineering Council Bill, 2083.
Minister for Health and Food Hygiene Nisha Mehta will present a proposal seeking consideration of the Ramraja Prasad Singh Academy of Health Sciences Bill, 2083. Meanwhile, the Finance Committee and the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee are also scheduled to meet today.
