Govt allocates Rs 28.52 billion for nationwide road maintenance



KATHMANDU: The government has allocated Rs 28.52 billion for the maintenance of roads across the country.

Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle made the announcement while presenting the budget for fiscal year 2026/27 in the Federal Parliament.

He also said that roads within the Kathmandu Valley will be made dust-free and pothole-free as part of the government’s urban infrastructure improvement plan.
