Private sector to be allowed to trade electricity internationally



KATHMANDU: The government has announced plans to allow the private sector to trade electricity in the international market.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle made the announcement while presenting the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2026/27 on Friday.
