Gold, silver prices hit new record highs in Nepali market



KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices in the Nepali market have reached new record highs once again on Thursday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold surged by Rs 20,500 per tola in a single day. Fine gold is being traded at Rs 339,300 per tola today, marking the highest price in history.

On Wednesday, fine gold was traded at Rs 318,800 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 205 per tola. Silver is being traded at Rs 7,505 per tola today, up from Rs 7,300 per tola on Wednesday.

The continuous rise in precious metal prices has raised concerns among traders and consumers alike.
