Motorcyclist dies after bike plunges into canal in Chitwan



CHITWAN: One person died after a motorcycle plunged into the Radhapur canal in Bharatpur Metropolitan City–14, Chitwan, on Wednesday night.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Rabindra Khanal, the deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Binod Subedi of Bharatpur Metropolitan City–16.

Subedi sustained serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to Bharatpur Hospital, where he died during the course of treatment.

Police said the body has been kept at Bharatpur Hospital for post-mortem examination. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
