BAJURA: Life in Bajura is gradually returning to normal as weather conditions improve following several days of continuous rain.
The weather improved partially on Sunday, while the sky cleared and sunshine appeared on Monday. Markets, schools, government offices and transport services have resumed operations across the district.
Long- and short-distance vehicles have resumed services in areas affected by the rainfall, while educational institutions also reopened on Monday. Vehicles have also started operating on some rural roads that were previously blocked by the rain. According to the District Police Office, the Sanfe-Martadi road section, which had been blocked by landslides, was cleared on Sunday, allowing transport services to resume.
Farmers have also returned to their agricultural activities as the weather improves. Local resident Bir Bahadur Budha said farmers have resumed daily work, including harvesting rice crops that had been halted by the rain.
Chief District Officer Dorendra Niraula said normal life was gradually returning as weather conditions improved. According to him, long- and short-distance transport services from the district resumed on Sunday.
