Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.57, while the selling rate is Rs 153.17. Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 177.58 and the selling rate at Rs 178.28. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 207.09 and the selling rate is Rs 207.91, while the buying rate of one Swiss franc is Rs 189.29 and the selling rate is Rs 190.04.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.48 and the selling rate at Rs 109.91. Likewise, the buying and selling rates of one Canadian dollar have been set at Rs 109.89 and Rs 110.33, respectively. The buying rate of one Singapore dollar is Rs 119.94, while the selling rate is Rs 120.41.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.57 and the selling rate at Rs 9.60. Similarly, one Chinese yuan has a buying rate of Rs 22.70 and a selling rate of Rs 22.79. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.64 and the selling rate is Rs 40.80, while the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is Rs 41.85 and the selling rate is Rs 42.02.

According to NRB, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.64 and the selling rate is Rs 4.66. The buying and selling rates of one UAE dirham have been fixed at Rs 41.54 and Rs 41.71, respectively. Similarly, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.83 and the selling rate is Rs 37.98. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.03 and the selling rate is Rs 11.08.

The buying rate of one Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 16.06, while the buying rate of one Danish krone is Rs 23.76 and the selling rate is Rs 23.85.

The central bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.46 and the selling rate at Rs 19.54. Likewise, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 497.21 and the selling rate is Rs 499.17. The buying and selling rates of one Bahraini dinar have been set at Rs 404.69 and Rs 406.28, respectively, while one Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 396.30 and a selling rate of Rs 397.86.

The buying and selling rates of 100 Indian rupees have been fixed at Rs 160.

NRB has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time depending on prevailing conditions. The exchange rates offered by commercial banks may differ from those fixed by the central bank, and the latest rates are available on the NRB’s official website.
