Oli, Prachanda and Madhav Nepal to share stage today



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli, Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” and Co-Coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal are set to appear on the same platform today at an event marking the 75th birth anniversary of late Madan Bhandari.

The leaders are scheduled to participate in a program organized by the Madan Bhandari Foundation at the Sabha Griha in Kathmandu, on the theme “Communist Movement of Nepal and People’s Leader Madan Bhandari.”

Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari is scheduled to attend the event as the chief guest of the national conference. Along with Oli, Prachanda and Nepal, CPN-UML leader Jhalanath Khanal and Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal Chairperson Upendra Yadav are also expected to participate.

The appearance of the three senior communist leaders on the same stage is being closely watched amid discussions about possible cooperation and realignments within Nepal’s communist politics.
