KATHMANDU: Nepali fighter Rabindra Dhant has advanced to the semifinals of Road to UFC Season 5 after a dominant knockout victory in Macau, China.
Competing in the bantamweight division quarterfinal, Dhant defeated Filipino fighter Kimbert Alintozon in the second round of the mixed martial arts (MMA) contest.
Dhant appeared dominant throughout the bout, controlling both the first and second rounds with powerful striking and an aggressive approach. He secured a decisive knockout in the second round to book his place in the semifinals of the tournament.
