Bakra-Eid strengthens social unity and tolerance: Speaker Aryal



KATHMANDU: Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has said that Bakra-Eid would contribute to strengthening religious tolerance, social harmony and unity in Nepal, a country rich in diverse cultures, traditions, attire and ethnic communities.

On the occasion of Bakra-Eid, Speaker Aryal extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to Nepali Muslim communities living in the country and abroad.

In his message, he wished everyone happiness, peace and prosperity during the festival.

Speaker Aryal also said that festivals like Bakra-Eid play an important role in preserving the original traditions and cultural values of different religions, castes and communities. According to him, such celebrations help promote mutual understanding, tolerance and reconciliation among people of diverse ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds.
